The graduating Class of 2024 will say farewell to the halls of Coffeeville High School Thursday evening, May 23rd. Forty-one graduates will receive diplomas sporting seven honor graduates, one of the largest numbers of honor graduates in a decade. The Valedictorian is Yushunti Curtis is the 18-year-old daughter of Yashena Turner and Demario Curtis. The Salutatorian is Krystyn Sumlin is the 18-year-old daughter of Letitia Sumlin and the granddaughter of Margaret and the late George Suggs. The graduation ceremony will start at 7 p.m. at Brandon Williams Stadium and will surely be a time of joy and happiness as one chapter of their lives comes to an end and a new one begins. To the Class of 2024, congratulations on your accomplishments so far and good luck as you each choose separate pathways into the future.
