FFA was founded in 1928 as the Future Farmers of America to train rural youth in agriculture. FFA now captivates over a million diverse students, urban and rural areas, who are pioneering advancements in robotics, genetic engineering, and sustainable food systems. For two long years FFA has been inactive in the Coffeeville area, now we hope to change that for the better. We still have some kinks to work out including fundraising ideas for our chapter, field trips, and much more! You may have already seen our float in the homecoming parade where we dressed up as characters from the Wizard of Oz theme! We hope to participate in the National FFA convention in Indianapolis, Indiana next year and for each of our FFA officers to have the nationally recognized FFA Blue Jacket. Our 2025-2026 FFA officers are: Chapter President- Ayhuanna Smith, Vice President-Grace Simpson, Secretary- Shambria Spearman, Sentinel- Alexander Smith, and our Reporter- Markyle Pittmon. We are a small group, but our goals and ambitions are to make a positive impact locally, possibly statewide and nationally. So we hope to bring awareness to and ignite a passion for the field of agriculture, and we hope to see you all soon!
