Wanda Phifer and Christopher D. Phifer
The members of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church are excited to present their interim Pastor, Christopher D. Phifer, and his wife, Missionary Wanda Phifer. The Phifers have allowed God to prepare them for this task.
Christopher D. Phifer was saved under the ministry of his father, the late Prophet Solomon C. Phifer, Sr. in New York. He has pastored churches in New York and Tennessee.
His ministry extended to diverse organizations, including homeless shelters and prison
ministries, as well as teaching in Children’s Church, Youth and Senior groups.
Phifer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Howard University, a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching as Leadership from Memphis Theological Seminary. He is married to his beautiful wife, Wanda, and they have one son, Christopher II.
Wanda Phifer has served in the Memphis City Schools System Legacy for twenty-five years. She assists her husband, Pastor Christopher D. Phifer, in Pastoral Ministry as Sunday School Superintendent and Director of Christian Education.
She received her B.S. Degree in Education. She is also a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Also, she received a +45 Degree in Administration and Supervision from Union University.
Additionally, Pleasant Hill MB Church family will celebrate their 148th Church’s anniversary on May 3rd, 2026 at 11:00 A.M.. A complimentary Luncheon will be served between the 11:00 AM service and the 3:00 PM service.
Pastor Christopher Phifer will deliver the 11:00 AM morning message, and Pastor Wayne Tinnon of Memphis Tn. will deliver the 3:00 PM afternoon message. All roads lead to Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church on May 3rd of 2026.
