Celebrate our Nation’s 250th Anniversary at our Annual National Day of Prayer Observance Crawford Sports Complex in Water Valley at the Flagpole

 Mayor Tommy Reynolds will welcome everyone and area pastors leading with prayer will be Shane Crawford of Water Valley Sylva Rena Baptist, Kevin Lee of Coffeeville Hopewell MB Church, RW Moffitt of Water Valley Cornerstone Full Gospel, Curt Presley of Water Valley First Presbyterian, 

Jim Roberts of Water Valley First Christian, TK Townsend of Coffeeville Pleasant Grove M.B. Church, and Milt Whatley of Water Valley First Methodist. 

Celebrated on the first Thursday of May since 1952, this year’s National Day of Prayer on May 7, is using the theme “GLORIFY GOD AMONG THE NATIONS – SEEKING HIM IN ALL GENERATIONS. 

Our local observation will be held at Noon at the flagpole of Crawford Sports Complex (weather permitting). 

Prayers will be offered for Our Nation and Government; the Arts, Entertainment and Media; the Church; the Family; Our Schools and our Youth; Business and the Workplace; and Our Military. 

In case of inclement weather, the observance will be held in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church which has an accessible entrance on the north side.
