Johnny Wright Jackson Obit

Mr. Johnny Wright Jackson, 75, of Tillatoba, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 29, 1949 in Grenada to Fred Wright Jackson and Bernice Pearl Lowery Jackson. Johnny enjoyed a career spanning over 45 years at Heatcraft in Grenada. An avid outdoorsman, Johnny enjoyed spending his spare time hunting and fishing. Funeral services wereheld at Noon on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Bro. James Jones and Bro. Justin Hill officiating. Interment followed in the Elam Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service Saturday at McKibben and Guinn. Survivors include three sons, Johnny Jackson, Jr.(Loretta) of Tillatoba; Fred Allen Jackson(Tamitha) of Wichita Falls, TX and Timothy Lee Jackson(Laura) of Grenada; two sisters, Virginia Grubbs of Grenada and Myra Dempsey of Tillatoba; one brother, Danny Jackson of Tillatoba; four grandchildren, Amber Jackson, Anna Pullen(Sam), Bryan Jackson and Caitlin Siklas and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Mary Elizabeth “Tootsie” Jackson, Nancy Carol Redwine and Freddie Jean Gray. Jason Doubleday, Jonathan Hill, Cody Kendall, Bryan McCullough, Jason McCullough and Sam Pullen honored Johnny by serving as pallbearers and carry him to rest in the Elam Cemetery.
