Kimberly Lynn Tatum
August 2, 1972 — July 3, 2025 Kimberly Lynn Tatum, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and grandmother, passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 52, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, TN, after bravely battling cancer. She was born on August 2, 1972, in Oxford, MS, to Dwight and Martha (McCullar) Tatum, and her spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Kimberly graduated from Water Valley High School in 1990 and later attended Northeast Community College in Booneville, MS. Throughout her life, she found joy in reading, traveling to the mountains, and cherishing her animals. Her love for her family was undeniable, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her career in retail sales, where she always brought her warmth and enthusiasm. A visitation for Kimberly was held on July 15, 2025, at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Following the visitation, a memorial service took place at 3:00 PM, with Bro. Shane Crawford officiating. She leaves behind her bonus daughters, Hannah (William) Willis of Calhoun City, and Makenzie Chandler of Water Valley, as well as her loving sister, Debra (Thomas) West of Water Valley. Her legacy will be carried on by her cherished grandchildren: Raelyn Dickey, Mabry Jane Dickey, Noelle Willis of Calhoun City, Emberlyn Gentry, and Thomas Wade Gentry of Water Valley. She is also survived by her nephew Henry West, niece Ava Claire West of Water Valley, Cody (Karlie) Inman of Bruce, MS, and her dear best friend Audie Chandler Ashford. Kimberly is preceded in death by her father, Dwight Tatum, and her mother, Martha (McCullar) Tatum. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved her, and her memory will continue to inspire laughter and love among family and friends.
