Tommy and Debbie McCool spent the day in Senatobia at their son Christopher’s.
Martha Box said it looks like time slowed down this past week. As busy as we were, as much as we experienced it felt like today could not get here!
A lot of stress and worry about daughter Candy’s trip to ER. Thank Heavens she is up and ok, working on increasing the protein her body needs!
Thank you to all who prayed so and fed Wayne Box and family this week. Such a special goodbye service for Donna Box, Wayne‘s love, Saturday. Donna is shouting GLORY in Heaven now. So love and appreciate Bro. Tommy Darby and Sister Sherry Darby for the love and support of this family always and forever.
Wonderful message at Willow Springs AOG today. A great encouragement to love and serve God more than modern day worldly life.
Faye, Nathan and Kristie Hartley, Tyler Welch, Annie, Saylor and Emily Box have been in Pearl, Ms since Friday watching Rowland play ball.
Mrs. Betty Sue Chambers and her oldest living sister, Mrs. Milred Arbuckle have a ladies meeting/ family together once a month. They had the biggest crowd so far as twenty showed up at the Cracker Barrel. It was mostly the late Aunt Willie Beardain, Betty Sue Chambers and Mildred Arbuckle’s children and Grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. The attendees were Wendy Dempsey and daughter Laina, her daughters, Kadynce and newest baby, Storie; Kelly, Glenda Newton, Jacque Chambers, Heather, Bonnie Tillman, Candy, granddaughter Donna, Dorothy McGarity, Wanda Winters, Samantha Anderson, Jennylou Chambers, Arica Box, and Pat Kendall. We had a few missing but we had good fellowship and good food. Days are not promised to us. We enjoy the time we can get.
Don Bowman had surgery recently, but is home now recuperating slowly. David and I made a trip to Oxford Monday morning for my CO payday check.
Celebrating birthdays this week are Bo Williamson, Stacy Langham, and Hadley Rye on the 11th, Alice Beverly McBride on the 13th, Lila Myrick, Bro. Rickey Harris, and Allison Dukes on the 14th, and twins Donna Ginn and David McMillan on the 16th. May you all have a blessed day celebrating your special day!
Recipe for the week: Olive Spread
Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese
1 Tbl lemon juice
1 Tsp Tabasco Sauce
1/4 Tsp Cajun Seasoning
1/4 cup mayonnaise
12 large pimento stuffed olives, chopped
Mix, chill, and eat with crackers.
Thought for the day: I learned how to belly dance today! I didn’t have to do very much, I just gave it a little shake and the darn thing started dancing on its own.
