Saturday morning, October 12, the Cancer Awareness Walk was held at the Coffeeville Recreation Park with more than 50 people participating. The were several cancer survivors presents and the rest of us have all been effected by this terrible disease.

Contractors are getting close to completing the Gums Crossing Bridge with just a few steps left before it will be open. Wednesday of this week they will be putting the asphalt down on either end of the bridge. Once that is done they can do the guard rails.
