It was 98 degrees on Sunday afternoon June 28. You could have Fried an egg on the hood of your car, but not recommended.

Sylvia came by the other day and we played cards. I won Battle two times, a game I hadn’t won in a long time. Sylvia is going to teach me Golf in card playing, it is opposite of Battle.

We have been watching Golf on T. V. Mike and Sylvia have been trying to teach me the rules. All I want is a hole in one!

I am always glad to have visitors as I was when Mark Shiers came by last week. He is one of the preachers at the Batesville Church Of Christ.

Dianne and Chuck came by for a visit on Thursday June 25th. Tyrone Newsom and Kitty came by as Tammy, Sylvia, the Byers and I were visiting. He commented, with a big smile, “Wow, that’s a lot of Hickeys!”

Tammy and I went to Batesville Saturday June 27 to get me some new shoes. Later we drove by Sylvia’s to see her beautiful flowers, holly hawks, cannas and other beauties, plus pretty white fence.

We were saddened to hear about Wesley Crawford passing. He was Tammy and John’s friend and next door neighbor.
