In last week’s Courier in the “Who Is It?” was a picture of Erlene Lowery from Charleston. She was attending NWJC at the time. I told Tammy who she was. She was three grades above me, but we were in chorus at CHS back in 1955 and 56’. Mr. Dooley was our teacher.

Madolynand Eddie Lewis are always a treat to be at the Coffeeville Church of Christ as they were Sunday morning. He spoke on Giving Not Getting. He has spoke on Count Your Blessings And Not Your Troubles, Living One Day At A Time, Breaking The Alabaster Box And More Blessed To Give Than To Receive. Eddie told us that he was a war orphan. His father died in a plane crash in Fort Lewis, Washington when he was very young. John Pegg is also a war orphan. Eddie asked for a show of hands to those who served in the military. Jason Purdy was the only one.

Our beautician Shaunda Freely is out sick and we are having to fix our own hair. Tammy came early Sunday morning and used the curling iron on my hair. It looked pretty good. Be glad when Shaunda gets well.

I always think of attending the Worsham Reunion on Memorial Day weekend. But since Mike has been gone to North Carolina no one here hosts the reunion. I really miss it.
