This is a free “Come & Go” program planned for elementary, teens, and adults. The final TT program will be Adventures in Book Arts with art instructor Tina Lutz on Thursday, July 18, at 4:00 PM. Summer Library Program Ends What a fantastic summer we’ve had with our Adventure Begins at Your Library Summer Library Program at Coffeeville Public Library and Oakland Public Library! Our libraries have been busy with children, teens, and adults attending programs and reading. The final SLP program for the summer was Live Reptiles given by Jackie Henne-Kerr of the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science on Monday, July 1, in both libraries. Attendance at Coffeeville for this exciting program was standing room only with over 70; we apologize that we could not accommodate all of the adults who accompanied children. About 50 adults and children attended the Live Reptile program July 1 at Oakland Public Library. During the five-week SLP, we provided 10 in-person programs at Coffeeville with attendance of over 200. We offered 5 programs at Oakland with attendance of 51 children and 69 adults. We also presented four (4) recorded story programs on Facebook and YouTube which were viewed over 1,400 times. Thanks to everyone who attended or watched programs!
