Quinterrion Smith, of Oakland, was struck by a vehicle as he and a group of friends crossed a road in the area of Route 30 and North Hills Road in York County, Pa. around 10:10 P.M. on July 11. The York County Coroner’s office said he was 17 years old and played basketball for Coffeeville High School.

Linda Harrison and her niece Lynn Chrestman flew to North Carolina to visit Linda’s brother, Terry Frost, several days ago and got stranded in the air port due to a global technical outage that affected airlines and businesses world wide. Lynn’s husband drove to get his wife and aunt so they would not need to spend the night in the air port.

Eddie Lewis and his wife Madolyn of Olive Branch were guests at the Coffeeville Church of Christ Sunday morning. He spoke of happiness and prayer. He told us to pray every day and depend on Him and we need to pray intently. He gave five things for us to remember while praying. Next weeks’ speaker will be Larry Lott of Gluckstadt.
