Library board meetings are open to the public in compliance with state law. Libraries Closed Nov. 28 & 29 Coffeeville and Oakland Public Library will be closed for Thanksgiving, Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28-29. This is a state holiday. Drop-In Crafts @ Coffeeville We are offering several simple crafts during November at Coffeeville to make at the library or take home. We have bookmarks and a Thanksgiving mural to color, and a Gratitude Journal “Drop-In” Craft for all ages while supplies last. Visit the library and create your journal to take home. All ages are invited to spend time in gratitude this year as we celebrate Thanksgiving. Thankful Door at Coffeeville Public Library As Thanksgiving approaches, what are you thankful for? This November, we invite the public to visit the library and share your gratitude on our “Thankfulness Door.” We have autumn leaves, turkeys, and more you may choose to write on. This is a great idea started by Assistant Librarian Kristy Pyron, and we love to see what people share each year. Stop by and add what you are thankful for at Coffeeville Public Library this month. November Grab & Go Bags Yalobusha County Public Library System provides free monthly Grab & Go Bags for elementary age children filled with activities. November bags will be ready by Nov. 1 and will include a turkey craft and a treat. Children parents, grandparents, and care givers are welcome to stop by either library to pick up a free November Grab & Go Bag. Coffeeville Holiday Open House & Santa Dec. 12 Coffeeville Public Library and Friends of the Library will host our annual Holiday Open House on Thursday, Dec. 12, 1:30 – 7:00 PM. Santa will be here for pics with the kiddos. More details to come.
