Happy Birthday to my younger sister, Sylvia Anne Hickey who will celebrate her birthday on October 31, 2025. Love you to the moon and back three times. Also belated Happy Birthday wishes to my dear sister-in-law Pat Hickey who celebrated her birthday Sunday, October 26, 2025. I called her late in the day Sunday.

Trick or Treaters will be out beginning around dusk on Friday, October 31, 2025. Trick-or-Treating is a tradition that takes place on the evening of the 31st. Also Trunk-or Treating is a Halloween Activity where costumed children collect candy from the decorated cars lined up in a parking lot. It emerged in the late 1900’s as a safer alternative to traditional house-to-house trick-or-treating, offering a more controlled environment often hosted by churches, schools, and community groups. Participants can decorate their car trunks with themes and the event is popular with families looking for less stressful or a more inclusive Halloween experience.
