Oakland PL Open
Saturday Nov. 15
Oakland Public Library will be open Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10:00 – 12:00. In a continuing effort to better serve Oakland area citizens, the YCPLS administrative board voted to open Oakland Public Library twice a month on the first and third Saturdays from 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon. This is a trial through December to assess local interest.
Regular library service hours end at 4:00 or 5:00 PM on weekdays, so the board is offering weekend hours to extend library service to more citizens, thanks to a generous donation. If your work or school schedule prevents you from using Oakland Public Library during the week, mark Saturday, Nov. 15 on your calendar and plan to visit the library.
